Naseeb is a product of an empowered young group of professional Muslims world-wide and hence, it reflects how communication tradition has changed in the world, particularly among the immigrant Muslim communities in the West. This site clearly has something for everyone. You really cannot compartmentalize it into anything specific. I found a support system of single Muslim mothers like me near my home with whom I share the challenges that our situation presents. A couple of us from Naseeb get together and baby-sit when we can give other friends a break. It provides our children with a feeling of security that they aren't the odd ones out.

Naseeb is by far the most liberating experience I have had with any Muslim site. I feel like my privacy is respected because I decide who enters my exclusive circle of friends. With it, then comes a freedom to discover other friends from a secure place. I just have fun at Naseeb. I send my cousins Salams and email people I didn't know go to the same school, and amuse myself by finding out how many people I am connected to through only a couple of my friends. There are so many new members on the site everyday, it's quite addictive!
